Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Abalaba reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Chay and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Thorin has worked very hard to control his curse. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
