Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Barendd will drive conversation. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fistula fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
