So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: Sumnes was born with her mother's beautiful face. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. She is typically in her Assassin uniform, marred by beers. Her moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Veloptima liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She tends to her Assassin job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
