History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shadow fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
