Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with music. She constantly tries to fill her life with music. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Mella was taken on many hunting expeditions. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Bather for the past few years.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Nim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
