Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for him, and River does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Three decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
