History: Born in the west to a Miller, Lia learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting brigands, the young Lia began to lead the lost caravan. She has achieved small success as a Miller.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Riswynn never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
