She found a children's book about a Gnome Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is wearing a long, grey cloak. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
