Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Heian's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Heian studied abroad. Through the years after Heian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Courier like his mother before him.

Description: This late middle aged woman is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak and is in decent physical shape. Her black fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Quick lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult.

Description: She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'7" when asserting herself. With wild silver hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She struck the Scribe job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she seems to be bored by most things
