Description: A middle-aged man, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is long and unkept. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born to a Baker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Zook and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a violet costume with the symbols of the sun god on his torso. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Laucian lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with his Miller father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and he is content
