History: She was born into a rich family. When Emerald reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cecily grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and to reunite with her old friends

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new dyer responsibilities is difficult
