It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born to a Seamstress, her father struggled to pay the bills. She found a children's book about a Elf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
