History: Leaf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Architect. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.
