He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Adran was born the youngest of three triplets. He found a children's book about a Elf Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He struck the Miner job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her youth she was a Sellsword, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
