History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Hugh learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Through the years after Tordrid was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Tordrid's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tordrid and her spouse have recently divorced.
