History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: He is a Locksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
