History: Beast was born with his father's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Beast grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Beast. He became a Scribe soon after.

Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed rapier, just in case. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his broad grey hat.

Personality: Bernard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Half-Elven compassion; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Hethress was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. After coming to the age of reason, Hethress took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and someone believes her a fraud
