History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

His hair is long and silver with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
