Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pallabar embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This man stands a little under 2'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He prefers to wear white pants and tee shirts. His hair is black and curly. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He worked as a nervous Interpreter and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Fortune-teller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is an amazing painter.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This western woman wears a blue vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her blue boots flare out at the collars. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her black hair is well kept. Her violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and regain custody of her son
