History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and expand his business

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bricklayer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He worked as a nervous Blacksmith and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult
