After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mercenary they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Navigator, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and doesn't want to be a navigator and was forced into it by her family
