She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Vola was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Umpen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age his mother died while driving off some orcs. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in quarterstaff use. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
