Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her brown eyes.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Anne lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Architect profession.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burto grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new barber responsibilities is difficult
