Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Elama's homeland. Elama decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove her worth to the world

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
