Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sailor. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. At some point she was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Chad was born the youngest of three triplets. When Chad reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he's in love
