History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Halander was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student she started as a Sage, but she got bored and became a Soapmaker. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
