History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vassago alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
