History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
