She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Andraste and her spouse have recently divorced.
