History: She comes from a rich eastern family. At some point she was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Sarah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Merla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Merla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Merla's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now mingles about in high society.
