History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born into a rich family. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Barendd will drive conversation. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
