History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Shanairla was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Miller. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Merchant. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
