Description: A middle-aged man, he wears skinny pants and wears a black and blue robe with the hood down, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are black and catlike.

Personality: Cairn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Cairn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After months of barely getting by, Serpent managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raymond fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gilkass lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
