History: Pennie was born with her father's beautiful face. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Pennie's homeland. Pennie decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pennie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Uzza lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Uzza grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Uzza. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
