Portia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Portia and her spouse have recently divorced.

She keeps her white hair in a flapper bob. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Pogranix was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age her mother died while driving off some drow. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in whip use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and regain custody of his son
