History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barrister for the past few years.

Description: This woman is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her hair is blonde and curly. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and retire the richest woman in the west

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and further expansion of business

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His fur, while still mostly yellow, has prominent grey streaks. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Engraver. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
