History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with her Scribe mother left her crippled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Althaea was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Heward began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
