Personality: Richard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Richard was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Soapmaker. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spice Merchant. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She got into the Body Guard business at a young age. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Jaxi was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
