When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Birel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Carlin was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She tends to her Assassin job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
