History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Himo reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Five hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Vanuath was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the west were limited. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away
