He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Joan was born with her mother's beautiful face. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Joan has worked very hard to control her curse. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
