History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Mardnab never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Mantus was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.
