Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Althaea never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
