History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Kilvar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
