History: Patrick was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
