History: Akta was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Akta abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently the stress of being a Carter has made it difficult for her to sleep.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability.
