History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Engong grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During her travels, Engong and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Engong discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Engong fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Theobald hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Nala was born with her father's beautiful face. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
