History: Portia lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Interpreter, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: This tall, slender man is renowned for his bright tan suits and hats. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: The light-skinned woman stands 4'8" and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She has violet eyes.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Born to a Navigator, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Williamina was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Williamina decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Finellen was born with her mother's beautiful face. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barrister and was forced into it by her family.
