History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Altho grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Altho. He's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She very much looks the part of a Fortune-teller. Her hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. Her fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult.
