His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Harann was born with her father's beautiful face. At some point she was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rosamund grew up listening to her father's many stories. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
